just seen the movie again – the song is dominating the soundtrack pretty much, but it’s a perfect 80’s match.
(And Walken and Penn are great screen antagoinsts…)
Movie was based on a true story of a theft ring out of Pennsylvania. The guy that Walken played escaped from prison and was caught trying to steal a car.
Lol long live the 80s.For the best part of it great music.It was a good distraction from the mass un-employment,a conservative government,a royal wedding and a conflict overseas the circle of life.
They tried telling Madonna that she could not sing and this song right here was an awesome slap in the face to every single person that told her she could not sing.
Long before Katy Perry destroyed the #1 singles records there was Madonna. Madonna could not make one bad song. I have such great memories and a lot of it is from the era where before Madonna’s music single ruined her career IMO she was the greatest of all time.
This video is so perfect. At close range is a classic movie. The song being my favorite of all time from her makes tis song even more special. Thank you Madonna che bella!
